For this year’s ACMG Annual Meeting in Baltimore, ABMGG launched a new initiative, awarding Practice Improvement credit to all ABMGG diplomate authors of four abstracts presented during the meeting. We recognize that many diplomates already do quality improvement work in their day-to-day practice and we want to shine a light on those efforts.

The following diplomates and abstracts were recognized at ACMG:
- Allison M. Jay, FACMG: GraTeFUl Project: Genetic Testing Follow Up Quality Project
- Anna L. Mitchell, MD, PhD: Applying Down Syndrome Surveillance Guidelines in Pediatric Primary Care: An Evaluation of Pediatric Resident Knowledge and Self-Efficacy
- Rong Mao, MD & Elaine Spector, PhD: Evaluating the Impact of ClinGen/ACMG/AMP/CAP Beta Version 4 Guidelines on Variant Classification within the ClinGen ACADVL Variant Curation Expert Panel
- Melinda Peters, MD, Olaf Bodamer, MD, PhD, William J Brucker, MD, PhD, Stephanie Sacharow, MD, FACMG, Allissia A. Gilmartin, MD, PhD, Lance H. Rodan, MD, & Amy Kritzer, MD, FACMG: Identifying Care Coordination Barriers and Optimal Support Practices for Families of Patients with Lysosomal Storage Disorders
The above abstracts can be viewed on ACMG’s meeting abstract portal by searching any of the author names.
Congratulations to all awardees!
