The next administration of the ABMGG certification exams will be held Wednesday, August 11 through Saturday, August 14, 2027. Exams will be offered for all specialties, Clinical Genetics and Genomics, Laboratory Genetics and Genomics and Clinical Biochemical Genetics, as well as the Medical Biochemical Genetics subspecialty.
Individuals interested in sitting for the certification exams must successfully complete an ACGME-accredited laboratory fellowship or clinical genetics and genomics residency by July 31, 2027.
Registration details and the exam bulletin will be released later this Fall 2026.
